The Edge cafe at 139th and Edgecombe has just unveiled their storefront signage which is somewhat retro in an unexpected way. When the original announcement was posted out front of the new eatery,
Victorian utensil clip art was part of the imagery and we imagined fonts that would probably convey this feel since the interior looks more on the classic side from what we have seen. Oddly enough, the new graphics out front kind gives us a retro late 70s or early 80s vibe which is kind of different. With all that said, it looks like things are coming along for an opening in the coming weeks so we will reserve any further critique until seeing what The Edge has to offer.
