DWELL: 2038 MADISON IN CONTRACT
After a few price cuts, 2038 Madison Avenue now has a contract out. The Harlem townhouse on the east side found a buyer with the asking price of $2.3 million and is definitely one of the better renovations we have seen in some time. There are a couple of odd addition such as the obvious air ducts on the wall but for the most part everything looks on the higher end since all the original details are in place. We actually like this part of Madison since the neighborhood is largely intact and this 2-family home is one of the nicer ones to be found in the area: LINK

Love the abundance of original well finished natural wood detail contrasted by the white walls, this is how to do a brownstone.
ReplyDeleteYes westsider your'e right of course but the register on the wall is distracting to me. I don't have a keen appreciation for it
ReplyDeleteOh! Its an air duct. OK, but I still don't like it on the wall.
