EAT: HUMMUS AT SILVANA ON 116TH
We never really had a chance to grab a quick bite at the Silvana cafe on 116th Street just west of FDB but had recently had to opportunity to try the hummus offering during an appointment. As one can see, the Middle Eastern spot really delivers with a large plate of creamy beans topped with fresh herbs, spices and a drizzle of oil. This was definitely enough for 2 servings and was one of the best versions of the dish that we have had in the city. We also like that the outdoor cafe has been set up now for additional seating at this little South Harlem gem.
