A rent stabilized true 1-bedroom apartment is available at 90 Convent Avenue by the old Knickerbocker Hospital building and City College for $1,500 a month. What's the catch here? The building just north of 131st Street is nice enough and the unit has been renovated but it is a 5th floor walkup. For those who are athletic and want to stay in one place for some time, this might be the best deal at this lower price point. There is an open house this weekend:
