SHOP: MORE DETAILS AT THE EDGE

We received a bit of press about The Edge at 139th and Edgecombe yesterday and everyone should expect an opening in the coming weeks:

The Edge is the brainchild of Juliet and Justine Masters, sisters steeped in Harlem’s multicultural heritage. Raised in NY and the Caribbean by a Jamaican father and Welsh mother, they have been residents of Harlem for over 14 years. Juliet, a chef and caterer and Justine, a sound designer and real estate broker, seek to make the Edge a destination for Harlem residents by creating a space that celebrates the sounds, flavors and fabric of their community. The cafe will feature a locally sourced and seasonal cuisine menu influenced by the sister’s Jamaican, British and New York roots. Wine and beer will be served also (license coming soon). The Edge is located at 101 Edgecombe avenue and is set to open in mid-late September 2014."

  1. I walked by yesterday and it looks like it will be a nice space. Also got a peek into Hog's Head and THAT looks fantastic. Going to be a very sharp space (black subway tile, great front door). It's tiny, too.
