We noticed that the holiday lights were being installed on 125th Street yesterday and a new design debuted. This updated decorative element has gold with white accents and the luminescent street banners all have an "H" at center for Harlem presumedly. There have been fundraisers in the past to help this annual event along and it seems like they have all worked out recently. Another point that is especially notable is that there are more lights decorating Harlem commercial strip this year than in the past as far as we can remember.
