BEST HARLEM REVIVAL 2014: FRIED CHICKEN AT HFB

We wanted to give as special shout out to Harlem Food Bar for 2014 since they kind of came up with one of the best Fried Chicken recipes we have tasted uptown. Ernie who is the owner-chef of the restaurant on FDB/8th Avenue is also one of those born-and-raised New Yorkers from the city's Puerto Rican community but has come up with a weekly southern sensation.  Somehow the Thursday night chicken special became a thing locally and we had to try out the recipe after seeing photos on our daily HFB Instagram feed.  With its succulent butter milk brine meat, well seasoned skin and more than exceptional crust, this 3-piece entree is one of the better meals one can get uptown for $20 a head.  Book a spot for tonight to check it out after reading the full original review in our past post: LINK
