Madiba Harlem will be officially open to the public tonight after having a soft opening earlier in the month. This beloved South African restaurant originally started out in Fort Greene, Brooklyn but has now opened a second location just East of Lenox Avenue in the Kalahari building. One interesting item that can be found on the menu is the Monkey Gland Sauce which some folks might be relieved to know contains no animal parts but is just a cheeky name for the regional red wine sauce dotted with raisins.
