DWELL: 393 CONVENT AVENUE OFF MARKET
Number 393 Convent Avenue returned on the market last year for the asking of $3.5 million and now has had the listing removed in the past week. This price point a few years back seem pretty steep for anything north of 145th Street but Sugar Hill has now shown that the landmark neighborhood is starting to attract boutique businesses and many are discovering the convenience of the express trains just a block away which takes one to midtown in about 10 minutes. This single-family, corner property is also one of the larger ones to found uptown and is fully restored with original details included. Usually brokers are quick to announce a contract on Streeteasy but we have yet to find out if this home has actually sold: LINK

This house is on the best block in the neighborhood, in my opinion. But it's a big place, and it's set up for one family. I guess it's been waiting for the right kind of buyer (with the right kind of wallet). I hope it sells.
