ARCHITECTURE: MODERN AND CONTEXTUAL AT 117TH
Renderings of the new construction to be built at 313 West 117th Street have been posted on the plywood and it looks like the aesthetic will be more contextual than the majority of the current architecture being brought uptown. This 6-story residential building has a contemporary Beaux Art aesthetic to it with cast iron window details that will be a proper fit on this block located between Manhattan Avenue and FDB. In our opinion, 313 West 117th looks more impressive than the rectangular brick boxes being constructed on empty lots in the past few years and should command top price when finally finished.
