Piatto D'oro II shuttered a few years back at the small storefront on 1 East 118th Street and now apparently something interesting is coming to this corner of Harlem. A Bespoke reader noticed a new sign posted up in recent days at the old eatery just east of the Mount Morris Park Historic District and sent in photo that might raise some eyebrows. We are actually not sure about this one because Tex Mex and Sushi are obviously not a common pairing. With a name like 118 Kitchen, this new eatery can either be totally brilliant or sadly mediocre. There will be a lot of sushi arriving in Harlem by summertime so only the best will do at this point and this new restaurant will have to be exceptional in quality to compete:
