DWELL: 326 CONVENT AVENUE RECORD ASKING
Number 326 Convent Avenue just south of 145th Street is still the record holder for highest asking price in 2015 since the listing debuted in February. This single-family townhouse one of Manhattan's most breathtaking landmark blocks just a short walk away from express trains has been on the market since February for the asking of $4.95 million. Properties uptown have not even broken the $4 million mark yet but a home that just closed in the past few weeks almost hit that number. This is actually a better location than the aforementioned record seller and the interior has be renovated in a contextual way with high end finishes in more recent years.
