REVIVE: 237 WEST 138TH STREET TOWNHOUSE

Even with the high demand for the historic Strivers Row blocks of Harlem over the years, there was still one abandoned building in the landmark neighborhood.  Number 237 West 138th Street had cinder blocks in all of the windows for as long as we can remember but now a construction crew is actively working within.  Permits line the front door at this point and the building is apparently being renovated into a single-family home.  We are not sure if there are any original details left within in but one neighbor has proven that adding back prewar elements can actually be done quite nicely: LINK
