SHOP: KUTI'S STOREFRONT STILL AVAILABLE
We passed by the old Kuti's storefront just west of Manhattan Avenue on 116th Street this past weekend and found an old photo of shop when it was open. West 116th Street is really starting to happen now that Streetbird Rotisserie has taken roost alongside pioneer Harlem tavern, Silvana and the also Lolo's Seafood Shack. The space is really tiny and the West African takeout offering was probably not the right mix for this end of the avenue a few years ago. What should move into this space?
