The new Island Burgers on Broadway by 123rd Street looks like they might just open any week now and have even started decorating the facade out front. We walked by this section of Manhattanville yesterday and noticed that flower boxes have been installed along the windows and some pretty proper planting had been planned. This empty storefront went from shabby to chic during the summer months and might just become another burger destination for uptown when they finally open. Everything looks ready inside but an official announcement has not been made yet for the grand opening.
