We received a Bespoke tip yesterday that a new Sushi ya will be opening up on 146th Street just west of Amsterdam Avenue. Walking by the space that is currently under construction, we noticed that the interior was over half way finished and had a lot of charm to it. All of the sushi spots uptown have mostly a contemporary feel to them and this new business is apparently going the opposite route. Word has it that the price point will be more affordable but we have yet to discover the name of the new eatery at 500 West 146th. Any other tips out there?
I really like that space, especially with all the charm of the spots recently opened on Broadway. I live right near this area and was bummed to see Amsterdam Social close, glad some new life is coming to this area of HH.
