DWEL: 148 WEST 132ND STREET TOWNHOUSE

Another gut renovated townhouse on West 132nd Street has arrived on the market and the asking price this time around is at $2.79 million.   This Central Harlem address between Lenox and 7th Avenue looks to be a former SRO that has been converted into a single-family home with modern finishes that alluded to classic lines.  We especially like the paneling on the walls, the herringbone wood floors and the updated bathtub that has all of the charms of a claw foot tub but done in a minimal fashion.
The recess ceiling lighting at the borders of the main rooms probably go a bit overboard since this tends to be a details set for commercial interiors and not for living situations but overall a nice job on this one.  More details on the broker site: LINK
