Apparently a 3-family townhouse at 417 East 119th Street by First Avenue has a record contract out based on the asking of $3.85 million. If the 25-foot-wide gut renovated building closes near the asking than it would actually be one of the top 3 selling homes of the year thus far. East Harlem still has a ways to go as far as better amenities are concerned but there is definitely a lot of potential here even though the nearest subway is 3 avenues further west.
