Soap opera star Cameron Mathison of
All My Children had to to sell his Harlem townhouse when the production of the show moved to the west coast a few years ago but has not been able to do so until now. Number 136 West 130th Street in Central Harlem was up on the market for the past couple of months for $2.899 million after turning into a rental during the recession years and now has found a buyer.
The single-family home is mostly a gut renovated interior with exposed brick walls and modern updates but the styling of the space has really made a difference from when the brownstone previously arrived on the market back in 2009. There used to be a shell next door but now that property has been fixed up and it looks like only one abandoned building remains on this block just west of Lenox Avenue.
