REVIVE: 2001 FIFTH AVENUE RENOVATIONS
The large corner brownstone at 2001 Fifth Avenue now appears to be going under some major renovations. Plywood and dumpsters are currently out front of this address on 124th Street that faces Marcus Garvey Park with construction workers active on site. A permit that has been posted reveals an extensive remodeling of the former single-family home which will now be converted into a 2-family building. New walls, partitions, floor and HVAC systems will be added on within but it unclear if any original details are still intact within.
