DWELL: 19 SYLVAN TERRACE ARRIVES ON MARKET
A rare Sylvan Terrace Home has arrived on the market for the asking of $1.697 million which might be one of the best deals to be found on top of Sugar Hill. This is pretty much what shells are trying to sell for these days but the 2-family landmark townhouse at 19 Sylvan Terrace by 161st Street is turnkey and even has some nice original details inside. Everything is on the smaller side and ideally better suited as a single-family layout but it looks like most of the hard work has been done already. The subway station and supermarket are on the same block but not too much else is happening in the immediate area. With that said, the Morris-Jumel Mansion on the adjacent block along with the last of the cobblestone to be found uptown makes this historic oasis ideal for those who want a calm getaway in the city.
