SEE: BERT WILLIAMS FILMS AT THE MOMA
Wednesday, January 13th, 7:00 p.m. , Bert Wiliams Films at the MOMA, T2 Titus 2 Theater, 11 West 53rd Street, Preceded by a presentation by John T. Reddick, Harlem historian and Columbia University Community Scholar. Those who missed the presentation of the lost film of African-American screen pioneer Bert Williams at Harlem Stage last month can check out the special presentation at the Museum of Modern Art this week which will have local Harlem historian John Reddick on hand as part of the narrative. Footage and film from the dawn of cinema featuring one of the famous uptown residents of the Harlem Renaissance will also be the highlight of the evening.
