INTRODUCING: A BAGEL IN EAST HARLEM
Crepe Cafe in East Harlem on Lexington by 104th Street serves up the European thin pancake stuffed with savory or sweet offerings but also has great sandwiches. We always are up for a good bagel so had to tryout the lox special on the menu on our last visit. Although the New York specialty was probably not made in house we thought quality of the coffee shop's bagels with the crisp outer crust was unique in a good way. These are thinner than most which works for the carb conscious out there and the everything option had a nice amount of seasoning on top. As can be seen by the photo, everything is freshly presented in the traditional way with tomato, red onions, cream chess and capers. For $7.50 each, this is probably one of the best deals in the city so those on the east side should make sure to stop by. More on Crepe Cafe can be found in our past post: LINK
