Living on your own in Manhattan is not what it used to be and $1,350 a month for a studio at 111-115 West 141st Street is now considered a deal. Listings under $1,000 do not apparently exist anymore and these lower price point accommodations are far and few these days. Express trains are about 5 blocks away and this location is close the Strivers Row neighborhood with new better businesses popping up over the past months.
