INTRODUCING: NEW MURAL ON 8TH AVENUE

FDB below 125th Street probably has the most new residential developments as far as uptown is concerned but has become pretty generic in some ways.  Now a large mural has arrived on the side of a building by the intersection of West 123rd Street which adds a little visual appeal to the boulevard. Public art has always been a big deal in Harlem and can be found especially over on the east side or further north but is quite lacking in SoHa.  A rather uninspiring parking lot fronts this part of the avenue so the mural really does perk things up quite a bit and adds some visual excitement to a bland block.

  1. Trompe l'oeil! I used to live in this private residence. :)
