A vacant SRO townhouse on West 113th Street that went up on the market this past April for $2.5 million closed the sale last month at what could be a major record in Harlem for a Single Room Occupancy home.
Streeteasy now shows that the 9-unit building located just east of FDB sold for $2.46 million last month which is a large number for a building that needs to be fixed up. With that said, There is a Certificate of Non Harassment in place and the location is probably the major driving point. There is an empty lot next door which is still a mystery but if the developer purchased both parcels than this could eventually make sense.
