REMEMBER: BOW FRONT TOWNHOUSES CIRCA 1914
Who can guess the this uptown location taken circa 1914? The block still exists today in one of the landmark neighborhoods and the unique homes all have curved facades. Another clue is the slight hill sloping downward which is shown with the original cobblestone street still intact. An updated photo will be posted later on in the day.
These are definitely the matching townhouses on West 141s Street just around the corner from Amsterdam Avenue. As mentioned by an astute observer, the downward slope would suggest that this is the north side of the street since the south side also has matching homes. West 141st Street toward Convent Ave behind The Grange! Judging by the direction of the slope, it's the north side of the street.
