DEMOLITION: PERMITS FILED FOR FORMER PATHMARK
A developer purchased the bankrupt Pathmark on East 125th Street two years ago and now demolition permits have finally been filed. The new construction planned for this section of East Harlem will reportedly take up an entire block and will possibly include a few affordable units. If all of the zoning issues are resolved then there could possibly 600 new apartments arriving to this uptown commercial intersection in the forthcoming years. More details on the story can be found on Crain's: LINK

ReplyDeleteThis could well be a game-changer for the immediate vicinity of 125th & Lex -- an area which could certainly use a push in a more positive direction. This can't come soon enough!
