DWELL: 238 WEST 139TH TOWNHOUSE IN CONTRACT
Number 238 West 139th Street on Strivers Row arrived on the market for $3.25 million back in March and now has a contract out based on the reduced asking price at $3.175 million. As mentioned previously, the landmark micro-neighborhood in Central Harlem features homes that all have private garages instead of backyards and this particular single-family home has a finished roof deck as a substitute for outdoor space. There are also some original details within and quite a few modern updates. The record for the block was set last year for just over $3 million at a neighboring house just across the street. More photos and details for the historic home can be found on the broker site: LINK

Hi, just a small clarification. Some of the houses on Strivers row have back yards and no garages.
