The set for the barber shop made famous in the Netflix series Luke Cage had been down for some time since filming finished up for the first season last year but it appears things will be starting up again soon. We walked by the famous corner on Lenox by 119th Street this afternoon and noticed that the formerly vacant storefront is now slowly transforming back to Pop's shop. This may be the 2nd season filming for the Marvel comics character but could also be a scene for the group ensemble production called The Defenders of which Cage is a part of. That superhero group will include Daredevil, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones which pretty much ties together the Marvel cinematic universe created on Netflix.
