BEST NEW COFFEE SHOP 2016: DEAR MAMA COFFEE
The last leg of the 2016 is upon us and some really great businesses have been opening uptown in the past months. Coffee shops have been key to the social life of any city block and quite a few have opened in Harlem. Starbucks in Manhattanville, Cafeine on FDB, ACP Coffee in Central Harlem or Hamilton's Bakery in the Heights are some notable debuts but Dear Mama Coffee in El Barrio really stuck out in a new way. We especially liked that the 1,500 square foot space had a great floor plan with just enough character to add charm to the modern commercial space which could have easily been overdone. Baked goods are mostly made on site and the savory selection is really on point at Dear Mama so those on the east side should make a point to visit this great new arrival. More about Dear Mama can be found in our past post: LINK
