ARCHITECTURE: 10 LENOX AVENUE REVEALED

Real Estate website YIMBY has more news on the church deal at 10 Lenox Avenue which used to be a Yiddish  theater about a century ago.  These transactions with developers have been happening for the past 2 decades and most of the churches end up with a profit of millions and permanent space in the new construction.  Check out the final rendering of the planned apartment building after the jump.

There will be 27 residential units when all finishes up at this location just a block north from Central Park's border at 110th Street but it is unclear if these will be up for sale.  Based on the proximity to a super block of housing projects, we expect this development to be rentals but the market has changed quickly over the past decade so condos are probably not entirely out of the question.  More on the history of this address can be found in our past post: LINK
