Lulu's shuttered abruptly at the end of last year and a tip came in that a new eatery called Clay would be arriving soon. We walked by this corner of Manhattan Avenue by 123rd Street over the weekend and saw that a note for deliveries had been placed up on the window which was signed off by Clay. The farm-to-table restaurant had reportedly been slated to open in January but March is probably now the better bet.
