DWELL: 30 EAST 130TH STREET SOLD LOWER
Number 30 East 130th street went on the market at the end of 2017 for $2.595 million, had a contract out within 3 months and records now show that the final closing price was a bit lower at $2.45 million when all wrapped up. As previously mentioned, this 2-family has been was gut renovated so modern updates such as HVAC vents and recessed lighting can be found throughout the brownstone. As mentioned previously, there are sleek new modern stairwells mixed in with knotty dark wood finishes all styled with what appear to be green grass carpeting that somehow makes the interior feel like an outdoor garden party. With that side, there are a few original details remaining such as the fireplaces, foyer doors and stained glass at the front entrance. This address faces a basketball court but anything fully renovated at the $2 million range appears to be priced to sell these days so this brownstones might be attractive to entry level buyers.
