DWELL: HIGHEST PRICE TOWNHOUSE SPRING 2017

Harlem Bespoke: The house in question is actually to the right of the photo and a recent Times listing actually shows a renovated interior with some designer details in place.

Number 233 Lenox Avenue (at the right of photo) arrived on the market in the past month and is apparently the highest priced townhouse on the market in Harlem set at just under $6 million.  The location by 121st Street in the Mount Morris Park Historic District is quite ideal but the interior renovations are pretty much renter's grade from what can be seen in the listing and the entire building has been chopped up into multiple apartments.  Whole Foods will be opening up just few blocks north on 125th Street in the coming month which might be the reason for the higher price range but there is not too much else going on to romance the brownstone besides the intact front facade.  More details on Streeteasy: LINK
