We swung by Bean Y Vino on Lexington by 104 Street in El Barrio to check out the new business that has only been open for less than a year. Most might remember that this was the former East Harlem Cafe space which shuttered abruptly in 2016 but the new anchor tenant arrived just a few months later. Everything now has a very contempory industrial feel to it and the menu is pretty straightforward with pastries, coffee and tea. There is a tiny kitchen in the back that serves up some breakfast options and even pizza later on in the day. Our goal was just a snack on the go this time around but will definitely be back to try out the hot offerings. More on the East Harlem Cafe can be found in our past post:
