DWELL: 153 WEST 121ST STREET ON MARKET
Harlem Bespoke: Number 153 West 121st Street has just arrived on the market and the 19-foot-wide brownstone located just east of 7th Avenue has an initial asking price set at $4.2 million. We especially like the location within the Mount Morris Park Historic District and the interior has not only the original woodwork intact but a lot of the plaster details are also in great condition. Express trains and the new Whole Foods that will be opening in July are all nearby but the actual layout of the townhouse might be an issue. We saw that permits had been filed for a single-family conversion on the DOB website but it is unclear if that has come about as of yet. Another issue is that the kitchen and baths look like they need a major update which is also something to consider for this higher price point sale.
