BESPOKE: AFFORDABLE AT HARLEM WHOLE FOODS?
Harlem Bespoke: We talked to a Whole Foods employee who was familiar with the Harlem location opening this Friday and was informed that the new supermarket will be the most affordable one (within the chain) to be found in Manhattan. Prices will apparently be a bit lower on the inventory and this could also mean more of Whole Foods' private label called 365 which has comparable cost to items found at Trader Joe's. It all makes sense to us since Starbucks had slightly reduced prices when they first opened in Harlem over a decade ago but that has since changed in the past few years. For more on the Whole Foods at Lenox and 125th Street, check out our past post: LINK
