Chef Joseph Johnson from Minton's and the former Cecil has moved on with the intent of creating his own restaurant group.  Eater NY reports that Minton's will shut down for renovations this summer and Chef Johnson will not be returning.  Another interesting point of reference is that a new incarnation of The Cecil will also come about as a steakhouse in the coming months.  With that said, Chef JJ helped put the new Harlem dining scene on the map over the past few years but it is unclear if the local talent will be opening a spot uptown anytime soon.  Read the full article on Eater: LINK
