BESPOKE: SHAKE SHACK DEBUTS ON 116TH STREET
Harlem Bespoke: Today is the official debut day for Shake Shack on Broadway at the corner of 116th Street and Harlem Bespoke readers were a special guests to the soft opening last night which was a smashing success. Everyone who arrived at the evening's event were given a special menu which featured all of the classics which included shakes that had baked goods from Make My Cake as part of the mix.
Over 100 guests and friends showed up to try out the all of the famous Shake Shack offerings which included the signature burger which were even more outstanding at the new location. One of our personal favorites include the crinkle fries which are more evenly crisp than those served at other eateries and the spicy chicken sandwich which had just enough heat to it. Chicago style hot dogs with all of the garden toppings can also be found on the menu at the new uptown location which only has about a couple of dozen seats but does include a few bar areas to stand at for those who want to have a quick bite indoors.
Another big plus about the location is that the storefront is right in front of the subway entrance which makes for an easy pit stop. Doors open this afternoon so those who could not make it lasts night should definitely check out this new uptown destination by hopping on the 1 train to 116th Street. A big thanks goes out to Shake Shack for being a great host and to all of the readers of HB that help make it all happen.
