Harlem Bespoke: Number 153 West 121st Street has just arrived on the market back in June for $4.2 million and the 19-foot-wide brownstone located just east of 7th Avenue now has a contract out. As previously mentioned , we especially like the location within the Mount Morris Park Historic District and the interior has not only the original woodwork intact but a lot of the plaster details are also in great condition. Express trains and the new Whole Foods are all nearby but the actual layout of the townhouse might be an issue. We saw that permits had been filed for a single-family conversion on the DOB website but it is unclear if that has come about as of yet. Another point to note is that the kitchen and baths look like they need a major update which is also something to consider for this higher price point sale.
