Harlem Bespoke: Those out there who are looking for archival photos taken of the neighborhood in the 1980s should check out the city's website that has documented tax photos from that era. We especially like the image of 415 Lenox Avenue by the corner of West 131st Street since there has been an empty lot there for as long as long as we have been in the neighborhood. Not much was fixed up in Harlem back then and most of the photos are quite gritty:
