Harlem Bespoke: Who can guess the location of this vaudeville theater from a photo taken circa 1921? The historic landmark still stands today and there are a lot of clues within the image itself. Everything probably started out as a live performance space but movie pictures would end up being the main attraction. An updated street view will be posted later in the week.
Looks like the Coliseum at 181st Street and Broadway. There was talk about turning it into a shopping center a couple of years ago but I don't know what happened to that. Sure looked a lot better back in the day.
