Harlem Bespoke: The MTA released the much coveted Supreme limited edition metro card
earlier in the year and now has done the same for artist Barbara Kruger. Many in the art world might point out the Ms. Kruger originated the futura type within the red bar graphic in the 80s while the iconic skateboard brand popped up in the mid 90s with a similar look. Seeing now that the Supreme metro cards are selling for several hundred on Ebay these days, the Kruger version might also be noteworthy in the future.
The 116th Street station on FDB is currently one of the only locations in the city to get the Kruger version which dropped officially yesterday on November 1st. We purchased one last night to see if they were still in stock and the cards are indeed still available in Harlem. More on Supreme can be found in our past post:
