Harlem Bespoke: The new construction at 1399 Park Avenue by East 103rd Street has an interesting location with views of the train tracks but also has a unique design element. We walked by the streetside overlooking the local community garden on a recent venture and noticed a distinct detail.
Cantilever construction has always been a way for developer to use up adjacent air rights and this is a good example of this particular concept. El Barrio appears to be where the next wave of new buildings will be going up and the 103rd Street hub is a key location because of the proximity to the subway station.
