SHOP: MONKEY CUP ARRIVING ON ACP

Harlem Bespoke:  We received a tip that a new coffee shop would be opening over on 7th Avenue by 118th Street and walked over to see if any signage had been posted up yet.  This line of storefronts  have been empty for several years but Kathy Kuo Home recently opened up at the southmost end.

It now turns out that Monkey Cup will be opening a second Harlem location next door which is a pretty big deal.  Coffee Shop have been flourishing uptown for quite some time but lower Adam Clayton Powell below 125th Street has not had one pop up as of yet.  With that said, the commercial corridor is right next door to FDB and Lenox Avenue so it only makes sense that more boutique businesses will eventually move in at some point in time.  For more on the original Monkey Cup in Hamilton Heights, check out our past post: LINK
