BESPOKE: COACH SET TO OPEN ON LENOX?

Harlem Bespoke: The luxury company moving into the new commercial construction at the former Lenox Lounge address might just be following Gucci's steps to establish some street cred in Manhattan's most legendary neighborhood. We walked by the plywood fence just below 125th Street on Lenox Avenue today and noticed that some very mysterious images had been place up overnight.  The first one has a graffiti artist painting a double "C" logo up on the the said plywood fence and those who are in fashion know this is not Chanel.

As clearly seen in the closeup views of the second poster on site,  the designer collection Coach has made a somewhat public secret announcement.  We could be wrong at this point in time and maybe these posters exists elsewhere but the hip graffiti theme appears to be one tailor-made for the neighborhood.  Coach has also intimated an interest in Harlem in recent runway presentations so it only makes sense that a shop will open on historic Lenox Avenue:  LINK
