Harlem Bespoke: We stopped by Pompette wine shop last week to check out when the sister wine bar would open next door at corner of Lenox and 131st Street. Mozrel (who is one of the partners in the business) was on site as usual and mentioned that all of the permits have been filed for construction and that the planned debut date will definitely be in May. The aforementioned storefront was the location of Island Salad which shuttered a couple of years ago and should be an ideal situation since there is a lot of visibility on the avenue. Those who can not wait to try some wine at the forthcoming eatery should just drop by Pompette in the late afternoon since wine tastings happen on a regular bases:
