Harlem Bespoke: Several tips have been coming in mentioning that the Nez Cafe space on Manhattan Avenue by 117th Street has found a new tenant. We reported last month that the wine bar would not open as expected and that the renovated restaurant space was up for lease.
A poster in the window now announces that a kosher Chinese restaurant will be opening soon which might be a first for the neighborhood. Harlem was originally a Jewish neighborhood a century ago and the past decade has seen a return of the community so the new arrival makes sense. A wine bar would have been great but diverse dining options are always a plus. More on Nez Cafe can be found in our past post: LINK
