READ: FIRE AT ST. NICK'S PUB

Harlem Bespoke: Filming started for a 1920s period piece at the site of St. Nick's Pub on St. Nicholas by 149th Street in the past week but last night a fire ripped through the local landmark.  We walked by the address this morning and saw that the surrounding block had been sectioned off by firetrucks and police vehicles.

A fire fighter tragically died as a result of the inferno and  Number 773 St. Nicholas Avenue has been totally gutted.  It is unclear if the building is still stable or if demolition might be forthcoming in the near future.  Read the full story in the Daily News: LINK
